From Morocco’s DIY playgrounds to Denmark’s LEGO® heartland, I’ve spent a lifetime turning creativity into a way of life.
My story starts in Morocco, where I was that kid you know, the one who couldn’t stop making things. If I didn’t have a toy, I built it. Wood, plastic, glue… whatever I could find! My brother and I turned our house into a DIY playground, hacking together anything we could imagine. And guess what? I started fixing and innovating gadgets before I even really knew what “innovation” meant.
Then came the day everything changed: I discovered LEGO® bricks.
It was love at first build. The idea that you could take the same little bricks, take them apart, and create something completely new blew my mind. It wasn’t just a toy it was a tool for unlimited creativity. From that day, I wasn’t just building things; I was building possibilities.Fast forward a few years, and I turned that passion into my career. I had the chance to work as a LEGO® Education Trainer, showing teachers and students in more than 9 countries how powerful play can be .
And because of my deep love for LEGO®, destiny had a little surprise for me, I married a Danish woman, and suddenly everything around me turned Danish, including my coffee habits, Hygge vibes, and, of course, more LEGO 🧱 everywhere 😄
Then I jumped into a bigger challenge: helping the brightest students in the UAE as a Skills Development Specialist at the Ministry of Education. I ran national scientific competitions, organized International Olympiads, and worked with incredible young talents who pushed boundaries every single day. I concluded this chapter by being elected Vice President of the International Junior Science Olympiad and contributing as a member of the steering committees for several other international Olympiads.
After all, I decided to start Marhoune Studios right from the heart of Denmark. And now? Marhoune Studios is my playground. It’s where I mix everything I’ve learned to help kids discover and develop their talents through play because I believe creativity isn’t just a skill, it’s a superpower.
